End to the summer

This is about the time of year when I begin to mourn the loss of summer. It’s not that I’ll miss summer necessarily, in fact I really hate the summers here in Texas. They are just so brutal! But it means that my lazy days of sleeping in and not being responsible for too much are over. School is about to start back and although we homeschool it still means getting back to a normal schedule, church activities are starting back up, sport activities, etc. Life becomes a blur again. We have cut a few things out of our schedule this year in hopes that our lives won’t be monopolized by evening activities. Still I will miss the quiet evenings and the relaxing days that summer affords us.

Good bye summer… meet you back here next year.
