Kitchen Tip Tuesday

Because I am now really trying to make healthier choices in my cooking and baking, I have had to find several substitutions for things I commonly use. Two of which are oil. I have found I can substitute applesauce for oil, and canned pumpkin for oil and eggs. You can also make potato salad with cauliflower instead of potatoes and it tastes great.

  1. I have done the applesauce for oil but haven’t tried pumpkin. I’ll have to try that. 😀
