  • If you have an oven spill, dampen the spill with water and sprinkle with salt and then scrub.
  • For copper bottomed pots and pans, mix salt with vinegar to make a paste apply with sponge, and clean with a steel wool pad. Rinse with water
  • Clean your fish tank with salt and hot water instead of soap.
  • To get rid of weeds between cracks in the driveway or patio, sprinkle salt
  • If your out of toothpaste, use salt instead
  • If your feet hurt or tired, soak them in a tub of warm water with about 1 cup of salt per gallon
  • Use salt and warm water to clean bottles and other containers that are hard to get clean because of their shape. Pour the water and salt then mix them around and rinse.
